Charitable Causes

 

Lucy believes that we are all connected, and we therefore have a responsibility to care for one another if it is within our means. 

 

From 2012-2014 Lucy worked at an NGO called Street Child United. Ever since leaving she has continued to support their work by fundraising and by volunteering at various events.

 

Street Child United believe that no child should have to live or work on the streets. They provide a global platform for street children to be heard so that they receive the safety, support and opportunities that all children deserve. Our children are our tomorrow - we must protect their rights and support their dreams.

 

In 2016 Lucy will travel to Rio to volunteer at the in augural Street Child Games. She must raise £1,800 to get there, so if you would like to support her in fundraising for this incredible cause please visit her JustGiving page. 

 

As of October Lucy will also be volunteering at a local charity - My Cancer My Choices. She will be teaching yoga to cancer patients on a biweekly basis, offering them with time and space to be with themselves and to show themselves some love when they need it most.
